How this works
- BMI is weight in kg divided by height in metres squared, classified on the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s 2023 guideline and on the international scale (MOH 2023; CDC).
- Maintenance calories, estimated, use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation times the conventional activity multipliers (Mifflin et al., American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 1990).
- Maintenance calories, measured, fit a straight line through your morning weigh-ins and convert it at 7,700 kcal per kg (Hall, International Journal of Obesity, 2008), with a range based on a published day-to-day spread (Schneditz et al., Renal Failure, 2023).
- Protein is your weight in kg times 1.00, Malaysia’s Recommended Nutrient Intake for adults, beside the 0.83 and 1.0 to 1.5 g per kg references and the 1.6 g per kg point from a resistance-training analysis (RNI 2017; Morton 2018), then turned into servings from MyFCD.
- Numerology folds a birth date through the same code the logged-in app uses, checked the way we verify the arithmetic.
